Melani is a self taught artist based in Baltimore, Maryland.

For more than 20 years, Melani has been expressing artistically through various mediums such as  music, theatre, fashion, accessories design and art.

​

Melani learned how to sew from spending time with her grandmother who was prolific in quilt making. Using that passion, she created hand sewn appliqués on jackets, jeans and t-shirts.

More recently, she has embarked on a new passion of creating one of a kind fabric collage works inspired by live portraits.
